1987 765TI - the amount it carries and how easy it is to work on
1999 Olds Intrigue - Not bad for an American car (but no comparison to the Volvo's)

The 245...is "the suspension" one thing? I thought it handled relatively well last summer on the Duffy Lake Road... 8)

The 122...the cool factor, particularly after the Wilwood brakes and NASCAR rotors go in. The 17" wheels should show those off nicely... 8)

The Suburban...the grunt...

Me too, which means that you should come by and pick up an engine and a tranny or two

You are quite right Andy...I just need to rustle up enough money to keep you happy. If you need it out of the garage, I'll come by and grab it. I'm not going to be able to pay you until closer to the end of the month unless I get totally lucky on my next round of eBay auctions...

I've got an IPD cam/lifter/pushrod set and a header for the B20E...

Matt figures I need this to finish it off... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... AMEWA%3AIT

What I really need is a sponsor... :(

Ummm...money?

Still lotsa little stuff...brake lines, 1800 front hubs...stuff like that. My problem is most of it will not be stock parts so trial and error is standard procedure...

Like my seat frames, for instance. I pulled a set from that 142 at PYP thinking they would allow me to bolt in 240 seats (240 seats will bolt to 140 frames, this much I know). Well, the 140 frames are similar in every way to the 122 frames, they're just wider. The single front mount bolts up but the side mounts are over an inch outboard of the 122 floor mounts  . Not only that, the 142 frame on the driver's side is positioned so the fore/aft adjusting handle covers the parking brake handle. That forces my hand with the centre-pull 240-style parking brake...more futzing around... Nothing the some welding, cutting and drilling won't fix...

That kind of stuff is cheap but all custom. I still need brake calipers, brake lines, master cylinder, custom made driveshaft, custom made caliper adapters, aluminum flywheel...and it all costs money...
