Ian...

the only imports i found close to what you want is the honda accord, using a 4 or 5 ribbed belt, most of them had 4 and i think the one that had 5 i miscounted, so probablyall of them were 4, i did not find any with a 6 ribbed belt

there are a bunch of 700 series with the remote PS in the JY though, could you not swap pulley styles/adapt something?

the 93 sable alternator (vented design) came out with ease...thanks for the help

Jonny...

that other tailight is still there if you want it...let me know i can pick it up for ya if you want

Matt...

i picked up that Al rad from the 245 along with the shift knob/pedal covers...hopefully i can make that shift knob work in my car...don't see why not

went to princess auto and bought my own 17mm 'goose neck', i figure i'll need it sometime later in life again

lots of NA volvo's at pyp right now...the 1988 760, grey one, rick sr. has the hood...it's Al, but it'll only fit 88-90 760's so i doubt he will be able to sell it to one of us unless someone gets one later

ciao

Found some early 240 style black headrest covers.
As well I pulled a new ATN (I think) style fuse block from a hyundai. I'm sick of ceramic.

Need a 240 passenger fender, colour isn't important, pre 86

does anyone know how much seats are? last time I saw some bmw's with the black leather seats and I want to adapt them.

There is a LeCarra 240 Steering wheel hub at pyp right now (9 bolt)
I took the wheel off because it wasn't too pretty. You will need a 26mm or 1 1/8th deep socket to grab it. If you need a steering wheel let me know.
Andy

Sirius wheels...15" x 6"

if you see any can you let me know/pick them up and i will pay you back

condition doesn't really matter, as long as it's a working wheel you know, straighter the better, but curb rash is fine

looking to get a set of 5...and i have two right now..but i dont want to pay huge money for them

this is what they look like for reference, only in a grey stock color, thanks!

I'm looking for an early 245 rear (butt cheek) washer reservoir and bracket. I don't need the pump, unless its different from the front reservoir pumps. I may be able to get up there to find one soon, but if anyone sees one when they're there, if you wouldn't mind grabbing it eh?

Well smack me silly and call me lucy, I didn't even know such things existed! I was just going to fab a bracket and put one of the standard reservoirs back there since there's no room in my 242 up front, although now that I pulled the A/C I might actually be able to fit a turbo one now. Hmm...

Yep, not sure when Volvo stopped putting them back there, but the last early 80's 245 I checked had a double pump reservoir, with one line heading to the back....I'm guessing 1980 was probably the last year for the pump in the back. From what I've seen, they're often not there due to rust issues in that area.

I ditched mine back in the day, but want it back as I'm hoping to relocate with a line forward. The holes are still there for the bracket, so I'd rather find a legit original.
You're welcome to my turbo one Athal, if you don't already gots one.

Took the 1991 940SE wagon to Bert & Jack's for the social night Nov 12, left it there to have the front strut cartridges replaced. Turns out the big ("gland?") nuts are so rusted in place that the cartridges can't be separated from the housings/towers. They tried for a week or so, with a variety of tools and methods (and were very generous with space and time; thanks Paulo!) It seems that I need to replace the whole strut assembly (both sides.)

Looking for complete strut assemblies, or just strut towers, from a 7 or 940/960 with ABS. My 940SE is identical to a 1992 960 except for the drivetrain, for what it's worth. Must be an ABS 960 out there with a broken timing belt.....

I was looking and I think WorldPac has these in their catalogue, can anyone with WorldPac access confirm this and check availability & price??
That is if you are interested in new as an option

Generally speaking, if it's listed on FCP Groton, worldpac will carry it. Don't have access at work, but FCP lists right side (but no left?) for $275.

Dang, there's got to be a few '88+ 700s at PNP, no? I mean, if you can get them delivered so much the better, but 700s with ABS aren't terribly uncommon. We'll be there tomorrow some time so we can check for you, Chris.

Hot tip - 1981 silver 242 just showed up at our PYP in Lethbridge. I don't "need" anything at the moment. Jim may be interested in a few parts.

Thanks for the heads up Craig. I guess if anyone's going it has to be today or tomorrow as they are closed from Dec 20 - Jan. 4/10 inclusive.

I may swing by tomorrow, depending on how bored I get sanding the 242.
