Did this (is this) site hacked. I was unable to get in all weekend. Before that and now today I get a list of stuff on the site and have to scroll down to the forum/gallery area. Has anybody else had problems, or as someone recently asked, is it just me??

I never had any issues this weekend but I had the same thing happen a few weeks ago. I never asked if it was just me or if everyone had issues, it went of for 3 days or so.

Try adding the www to the start and /forum to the end of the address above, you just have an incomplete address.

I have the forum bookmarked so there's no worries there... What I'm saying is that the club homepage doesn't work... so people that don't have the direct link to the forum, or a new visitor for instance, can't access us!

The homepage did have lots of images and two links, one for the gallery and one for the forum. :D

ahhh, gotcha. Just tried googling Calgary Volvo Club and the first hit with just www.calgaryvolvoclub.com just links to a blank page. The second hit titled "Board Index - Volvo" has the correct forum address and will link from the outside world, although it would be confusing to a new visitor and you would think the simple address should still link.

I have been following this post and have had no problems with the site, either the home page, the forum or the gallery. Try clearing your cache (temp internet files) and see if that makes a difference.

I suspect it might be the other way around. Your computer is loading it from cache. I cleared everything...cache, cookies; the works and it comes up a blank page...

Nope, I clear the cache with every shut down, I also just cleared everything as you did and it loads fine

Mind you looking at the source code someone has gotten in there and mucked around, We do need to load the home page but I do not have the access ...

Raz???

Interesting. My default browser is Chrome and it comes up blank. If I open Internet Explorer the home page comes up as it should although there is a link in the upper left-hand corner that likely doesn't belong...

Very interesting point =D> I use Explorer as my default (set that way for work purposes) but you are right when I use Firefox it is blank.

I will see if I can get the FTP info & password to reload the home page

I am no Web Geek or super programmer but there was quite a mess in the code.
Anyway I received all the info from Raz and redid the main Index.html page.
For me it works in both Explorer 7 band Firefox 3.6.10
Please check out your access to: http://www.calgaryvolvoclub.com and let me know. [-o<

In addition to last weekend, when I couldn't get in, I have been unable to get in all this week. I got the blank page. I have changed nothing and today I got in cleanly. The magic of the internet???? I'm on an iMac.
