Hello there readers of Anything Goes. I have just signed up, and am looking forward
to learning from you serious Volvo drivers! I own 1990 and 1993 240s, a 1968
P1800S and my wife is driving a 2010 XC90 "which has a control panel like
the space shuttle" according to my 122/242 owner and friend.

Welcome! Always happy to see another enthusiast on board. Perhaps I'm a bit picky but your 1800 is either a P1800 or an 1800S, not both. Yours will be an 1800S since it's a 1968 model. The "P" prefix was on the early cars that were built by Jensen in the UK. When manufacturing was moved to Sweden they dropped the "P" prefix and added the "S" suffix...

Welcome again! And welcome to your first taste of CVC OCD (three letter acronyms aren't just for the GTA.) It's justifiable because the people involved are equally fussy about their own projects, check a few threads and you'll see what I mean! Some amazing knowledge and expertise on this board.
