So after talking with the one and only volvoshredder this weekend, Alex (frepea) and I were talking about possibly coming down to street wheelers for the weekend-possibly-

But the only thing we thought might e a hang up is finding a place to stay. We would probably both have one kid with each of us.

Would hotels be all booked up by now? Assuming the show is that big?

You may get lucky. The first year we had no dog to worry about we got a hotel pretty last minute.

A quick search on Expedia.ca shows there are rooms available but I wouldn't wait too long to book...

And you were right Dale....two rooms booked :) . Jordan and I and one child each (so far) will be heading out on Saturday morning early.Having never been before it will be an experience..... Maybe we can incorporate a little spring cruise in as well, although it looks like there are many other things to do.
Looking forward to it and stretching the wagons legs  let us know what "Volvo" stuff is planned !

Right on guys! You're coming! Cool! Not a huge amount planned for Volvo stuff. Craig has his yearly BBQ Saturday night, and then him and Matt will be at the auto-x on Sunday morning. Dunno what else is going on. Wish I could have offered you both a place to stay, but we wouldn't have had room...and our house is boiling hot right now too, so its not a great place to sleep.

So since we will be down that way, might as well see if anyone has some parts

1031 rear end?
Strut housings? Later ones with big bearings.
Black 240 carpet (242) and a black rear seat (cloth preferred)

Performance stuff?

Unfortunately I will be missing the action this year which is too bad as it would have been nice to meet you and Alex. :(

At one time one or both of you expressed an interest in a set of USA skinnies that I have, let me know if you want them and I'll drop them off at Craig's.

I'm not going to that this time...Matt and I have plans in the garage. Sounds like we're setting up for a swap meet at my place. Let me know if parts are to be dropped. No searching through my various parts stashes without supervision.

I've been following the NHL draft and free agent frenzy the last week with all of the resultant trades inspires me to ask for a 1st and a prospect... As you have neither of those lets go with future considerations.

I'll drop'em at Craig's place (thanks Craig =D> )
