Ugh. Changing cars again.

Found an 04 V70R that needs a transmission. On top of that the slave cylinder let go.

Plan is to open the tranny and replace the noisy bearings. I'll do the clutch and slave at the same time.

Car has 28k in maintenance records. Needs a few little things to make it perfect but the body is in great shape. 205k.

Ah I also need a downpipe for it. Probably go with a 3" and maybe attach it to a new exhaust.

Only picture I have.

Classy color combo. Not surprised that you (ie: a mechanic) picked it up, I remember that car when it was on kijiji and thinking no one could buy it pay to have it repaired and come out ahead. With $28K in previous bills it should be solid once you take care of the tranny.

I paid half of the kijiji add. Lol. I had to to make it worth while. My cost on a new tranny is 3200. Plus clutch and slave.

But I already had a transmission which was destined for my brothers wagon. He is going to sell that v70R and buy my 850R from me.

Found a local guy with a 3" down pipe, front mount intercooler and a set of 18" pegs with tires for 1800$

Picking it up tomorrow.

Very nice Jordan!

I've been incredibly happy with our 06R! After the initial valve body scare was sorted, it's been completely reliable and a blast to drive. Studded 215-55-17's also make it the most capable winter car I've ever driven. :)
