I'm looking at having an engine shipped from South Carolina to the boarder.

Is it sweet grass Montana you guys ship to?

Is there a business there you ship to? And would they be willing to accept something as large as an engine bolted to a pallet?

The guy shipping it, has a shipping account at work for large items. But apparently there is a huge discount if the receiving end has a loading dock. Does the place you guys use have a loading dock?

At the Border Storage is the name of the place. They have a website so you could call to see if they have a dock. But...if it's on a pallet, it really doesn't cost that much more to have a trucking company deliver it to Edmonton. Given you time, cost of gas etc to retrieve it from Sweet Grass, I would think getting it shipped to your door would be far more cost effective. Find out if the dealership has an account with Canadian Freightways or some other trucking company that crosses the border. This isn't something you ship with FedEx or UPS...

Funny you mention it. He just sent me a link for all the places they deliver to Edmonton! It's one of their hubs.

He is going to price out shipping to great falls and to Edmonton and I'll figure out what I want to do. I wouldn't mind a road trip south.

Thanks,

Jordan

Here's the website http://www.attheborderstorage.com/ They don't have a dock but do have a fork lift so palletted freight is OK.

Link is on the tbricks face book group. It's from hockey930s car.

Penta block and head.

B230, penta 2.5 crank, John v rods and pistons (updated pistons but also includes the old style ones). 16v head ported and polished (flow benched) by Kenny Howard. Upgraded valve springs. Still stock valves and cams. And electric water pump. It has 5000 miles on it since the build.

Excellent! That sounds fairly potent.
