Trying to replace the windshield in the 86 740 with a later year that has the integrated trim but the glass shop I was dealing with (Quality Glass - Lethbridge) couldn't find it with his supplier. He only uses one supplier so he said maybe someone else has it. I know that I have seen posts on TB that discuss the change to the encapsulated windshield in the early 90's and Craig you mentioned the same when you were out awhile back.

I really need to get the windshield with the integrated trim as the trim on our car is shot. Using Quality is an advantage as we are getting wholesale price as the owner's wife works with mine but not if I have to buy new trim. Anyone know of a shop (preferably in Lethbridge) that will know what I am talking about so I can order the right model?? FWIW we are being quoted $190 installed for the untrimmed unit which I thought sounded pretty reasonable??
