The welder is a 120V machine, but does like a 20 amp circuit. I'll be up and around in the next couple of weeks. Get some parts put together and I'll pop over and give you a quick lesson or two. I've been sticking stuff together with weld for a long time, you get a feel for it.

That's brilliant, thanks. I can get a 20 amp circuit in pretty easily. I'll get going on that. What's the best stuff to use for raw materials for practice?

This is making me very happy. I love learning new stuff. This means a lot to me. Maybe I have something in my parts bin I can trade you for your trouble. I can show you what I've got in case any of it is of use.

What a hoot, thought it was Craig's car being trailered to Calgary,
Looked nice, although I was traveling at 120 kph going the opposite direction.

That's funny. When I hit Lethbridge and I was heading north I was wondering if anyone from here might see the car on the trailer.

Your going to need a tank of shielding gas (blue shield is fine) and some 18 - 20 gauge practice pieces. I wait for the Princess to put the satin sheet metal on sale then buy some.

Hi Dustin,

I just read your entire thread. That car looks nice! I didn't look close-enough to see the year, but I like the look of the red on white. I had a red one with a white interior for my first entry into the world of 122's.

Let me know when you can stop-by some time, and we can chat - sandblasting is over, and most of the stuff that was piled-up all-over the garage is back on the car.

I'm really sorry I missed the pizza (beer) night.

James
