Thanks for letting me join - I am a Volvo fan but not a car guy. I am a retired IT guy and joined to sell something: the winter wheels and tires from my XC70.
However, I am somewhat surprised to find that I am a Volvo guy. In highschool I had a 50s station wagon with a huge V8 and several acres of front bench seat, so the first Volvo I ever got into was a shock: a Gold 142E from the motor pool in west Germany in 1970/1. That thing was so different that I have done roughly three million clicks in Volvos since - and I just bought a new one: a V60/T6 with polestar.
Unfortunately.. the winter wheels for the XC70 i traded in have no value as part of the trade-in process, sport shiny new Blizzack ws-90 (235/50/R18) tires from Costco's spring sale, and do not fit the V60. So I'm off to pick up my new car at Valentine this morning and will add a for sale to your bulletin board later today or tomorrow.
UPDATE: it's advertised as V60 - but it's really a P2800ES - wow!
