Dudes,

My '81 240 GL (B23E) is idling very rough. It's surging/hunting a lot and smells like it's running quite rich. Gas mileage is poor.

I don't have the car (my girlfriend has it right now) so I can't go out and look at it at the moment. I had a real quick look at it on the weekend and didn't see any hoses that were loose or off.

Anybody got any ideas as to what the likely cause(s) of these symptoms are ? Where should I look first when I get the car ?

Thanks,

Roj
