Well, Checked the fuse for the 15th time. It looks good to me.

I tried the self diagnostic light and I cant get anything to come up. I hold it for 1 sec then wait for 3 sec, press it for 1, wait 3 press it for 1 and nothing comes up.

I'm sick of this thing. Its getting parted and I'm losing my shirt. Man my life blows.

No one has an ECU or spare relay to lend you?

I am parting my pukey red car it looks like, but for much different and bigger reasons. Parting a working stock late model wagon for an electrical glitch strikes me as a bit extreme...

Well the no start is an issue and that fact that my jackstand went through a part of the frame (the part that goes under the seat ant about 90 degrees to the frame). It didnt look that rusty but I doubt that will pass an out of province inspection.

It sucks that i'm gonna be out about $500 but thats life. I have tried everything I know on this piece of crap and I have had enough plus I live so damn far south that nobody is even close by to come take alook (plus they are all busy with their own lives).

I do know of another one for $500 and its in way better shape, but auto and 1984.

Ok, I have got new wind in this but i'm at a stand still.

I am begging for someone to come over and take a look at it. I need help and I'm willing to pay. Name your price (I was thinking around the sit down supper or case of beer kinda thing).

Please please please help a brother out! I'm desperate!!!

I'd come out and help, but I'm busy as hell right now, and I've never even worked on an LH2.4 car so I don't have a clue of what to look for any more than you do. I'd be doing the same type of systems tracing that you're capable of, and it might take several nights to find it. I don't have that kind of time right now.

Do you at least have a manual?

Come to think of it I dont have a manual. What one is the best for diagnostic stuff? Haynes? Chilton?

Also, where can I pick one up at, I'm thinking partsource but is there a better/cheaper place?

The chilton "consumer" manuals suck. I use the Haynes and they've never really let me down, though they get a bad rap.

ok, thanks. Also what else should I need for diagnostic? Just a multimeter or do I need other specialized tools?

I actually think I have a Haynes 240 manual at home.
Let me check tonight if I still have it and what years it covers

Pretty sure at least one of my manuals (haynes, bentley AND chilton) covers the newer cars. You're more than welcome to borrow.
