You get no props for NOT wanting to paint your car flat black. You'd get whipped by me if you did, and not whipped in a good way.

Black wheels are yucky, IMO. Only VERY RARELY are they decent. I can understand someone wanting to do something different, but the reason why almost all wheels are silver is because they look good. Being different makes them look... what, class? That's right: not good. Fashionable, maybe. But so were leg warmers (okay, bad example.)

Bronze would look alright on your car - I'll give you that.

Wait, pink car with wide white walls and black wheels (or red) with chrome rings would look cool...wait that's been done.

well here we go again I took my car to Canadian tire to get a screw taken out of my tire and fixed. and when I got my car back they gave me my keys and i went out side and took a look at the rim before I drove away to make sure they did it right...and sure enough there was gouges and scrapes all over the rim. on the spokes, edge of the rim and on the lip of the rim. so i went back in side and spoke to the service manager i took him out side and showed him what happened and he was not pleased. basically the tech that messed up the rim didn't tell the manager and hoped I wouldn't notice. they refused to put anything in writing saying that they would send it away to be repaired so i took the rim off my self in the parking lot and got them to send it away tonight. so it should be about a week but they are sending it to Alberta Wheel Repair so that made me happy but as soon as I get it back i'm never dealing with Canadian Tire again!

Wow

Not your fault this time (nor was it really your fault the first time) but two Eikers sent to alberta wheel repair off the same car in a couple of weeks, let's hope third time isn't a charm this time around!

You're having BAD luck these days, sorry to hear it, but glad that CanTire actually owned up and took care of the problem, sort of :)

Its not two different Eikers... its the same one that I had repaired a month ago.
Although Canadian tire had to repair another Eiker for me last year because they did the same thing they did this time but ya I spent $200 to have that rim repaired and now Canadian tire ruined it and it has to be repaired again :(

Not being ignorant or anything but why would you go back for more of the same? There has to be a decent shop somewhere close to you? I know CT has the longer hours but...

Maybe he likes the abuse? I would personally NEVER go to Canadian Tire, they rarely have competitive prices on a lot of the things I need, and especially tires (like, you know, that second part of their name?) Yea, don't EVER buy tires or have anything even remotely tire-related done there, NO.

Wow, same eiker you JUST had repaired? those dicks! :(

I got the tires there #-o (which is something I will never ever ever ever do again) so any repairs needed can be done a Canadian tire free so I take them there instead of paying a tire shop $40 to fix something Canadian tire either screwed up or can do for free.

I understand now why you went back.

Let me know next time you need tires, go to Mustang Shop here in town, they order from tire-rack for you and get a deal, and pass on the savings to you :) (I saved 400 bucks on the tires I ordered for my brothers car!)

If you take the tire in, Kal tire does it for free, even if you didn't buy the tires there. Glad you finally learned your lesson - I love to support canadian and i'll buy supplies there, but never let them touch my cars!
