Thanks, Andy - I knew you were getting the new rack but I didn't know when. I also didn't want to assume you'd get me on there either.

but on yours a 2 wheel would do fine unless you hit something in the rear.

Well I've already had the rear end apart to do the top diff bushing, and now I get to do it again 'cause I didn't get the pinion angle quite right. Half that suspension has to come apart to get at the diff, and it just went back together with an eyeball, gravity angle finder, and a tape measure. Tracks and handles quite well for all that, but I want to be sure.

I'm in.
Saturday is looking better according to today's forecast.
What is the planned route/destination?

Depending how my inspection goes today I might be up to come down. But I'm waiting to see how it fairs before I decide.

I'm in, for whatever. Saturday or Sunday, it doesn't matter. I just need to know so I can book the babysitter.

OK decision time

Sounds like Sunday is the better day for those who are going.
The idea is to drive the same route as last year, heading south throught the foothills. ... but we are open to ideas

speak up now or forever shut up

Paul, does Sunday work for meeting at your shop or should we plan another meeting place?

I'm easy for route (yes, among other things).

I missed last year, what was the approximate schedule? Not that we can't adjust it...

One idea Dale and I were talking about last night was to take our cruise down to our friends in Lethbridge :D Since their cars are "under construction" we could drop in and inspect their work.

This would mean we should leave at about 8:00am on Sunday morning so we are down their around 10:30. That would give us time for a visit and lunch and then back to Calgary by mid-afternoon.

Since we are heading South it makes more sense to meet down at that end of town, how about the SE corner of the IKEA parking lot?

Those that say they are in Dale, Athal, Matt, Paul, Ian
Those that say they may come: Vik, Neil,

Let's hear something from CVC members

I'd be down with that. Is there a more interesting route than highway 2? We could take 22, but that tacks on at least another 45 minutes...

SUnday is better? Can't tell from the postings...Ian has probably been chatting with folks in person though I'm guessing.

I'm still down for either day, but i'd lean a little more towards saturday...

Yes I have been chatting with people off line.
Dale & Paul cannot make it Saturday, I am open either day, as are you
Ian Bressy is also planning on coming along.

So the day is SUNDAY Oct 19, meet at IKEA 8:00
