I am not sure if there is actually a regulation in the IHRA rules regarding fuel regulator location.

There was a rule in the NHRA book, so either there's a similar rule in IHRA or the techs were going on the NHRA specs, which they tech'd their cars to up until last year (possibly including last year, too).

Saw plenty of pics of guys lifting front wheels this year - doesn't seem to be much trouble at the line!

alot of the FWD guys who were used to 2.1 and 2.2's were consistently in the 2.5's and 2.6's

apparently its possible to hook up even better :)

also, the track has been having water problems for a while, they are fixing that too afaik

Is anyone going this week? The weather report says sunny and 26 degrees! I didnt' see any Volvo's out last week, where are you guys? I'll be there in my Integra sedan, likely sticking to the auto-x track. Come say hello if you're down there.

Dude, our big spring meet is this weekend! Read the thread! I think alot of us are planning to go to the track on friday (if we're not still getting our cars together), dyno and bbq on saturday, cruise on sunday.

Non-volvos welcome!

Drove a Honda Prelude SRV today.... no torque... it was fun, but... oh lord. Not having any torque makes and engine feel really weird...

Meow?

agreed, at work sometimes after doing a custom wheel set up we test drive the car around a few blocks to check for rubbing, vibration, etc then come back to the shop re-torque, head out again

anyway...to the point, i agree with that statement, even compared to an NA b230 liek the wagon...cars with low torque ratings just feel weird

now the mustang i drove a few weeks ago...that was fun

ciao
