I didn't intend to "play" this weekend, it just happened.

So I installed the QBM urethane upper and lower engine mounts on the C70

I also installed the skid pan

Results, engine is now SOLID in the car, it definitely transfers a lot more noise and vibration into the cabin. Who needs a sports exhaust, this makes the car sound awesome from the inside.

A LOT more noise? Uh oh.

How's it make the 1-2 shift now? Does it bang like it used to?

Mine never "banged" on any shift, but it does feel much firmer.

I also played this weekend, actually drove the 760! yeah you read right!!

The thing is wicked, god I miss the turbo feeling, love the manual gearbox with TrueTrac in the rear, got to burn a little yoko rubber around some corners on my new rims, shifts smooth...so fun!!! well it was anyway...

for about 2kms in total...

then the rear main seal let go, yes, the newly installed rear main seal, oh well...guess I'll be pulling the tranny again! :x

can't wait to get a truck and not have to "worry" about playing with cars...that 242GT is on borrowed time, just gotta make it a few more months!!! [-o<

ciao

Ian, glad to hear you recieved my other stuff (finally).

You're making me happy and sad talking about the C70 that way! I loved the way that engine moaned everywhere in the RPM band, any enhancements would be welcomed in my books too. :D
