That ain't no factory paint! Though it's a nice job re-doing that factory blue- between that and beige I'm not sure what makes the ultimate sleeper!

Can't wait to see it- spring dyno day?

It's a Trem-Clad paint job...and a nice one at that. I was impressed when I saw it up close last summer.

Those wheels look great Alex!

Thanks for the compliments! Pictures do tend to make it look MUCH better than it really is :( ,(doing the paint at home in my garage did free up lots of extra cash for more important upgrades  )it is a really good 10 or 15 footer, just dont get to close. Although it is the "$50 paint job",it costs considerably more than that in time and supplies(the paint is the cheapest part),I could have done better I guess, but I was running low on paint.Anyhow,it is totally functional...........can be taken to Walmart, gravel, etc, etc. Somebody out there doesnt have a blue armrest do they??

I think you're nuts, Alex. I've been WELL within the 10 foot boundary, and I think the paint job is extremely nice. I've judged lots of car shows and I'd say your finish is better than at least half the "done" cars I've seen.

Wow that paint job looks great in the pictures.

Hopefully one day I'll get to see it in person. If I can find myself a 242 I plan on doing the 50 dollar paint job on it.

  That's frigging Tremclad??? Sure glad I spent $300 on a new spray gun, when I could have bought a roller. That looks fantastic.
