as am I

well the GT is dead, it's now my locker at work

OKAY! back to one Volvo, which also still doesn't work haha, but that will be fixed!

I picked up a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD LT (fully loaded) duramax/allison 5-speed, pics soon to come, just put on a 2 inch leveling/lift kit and some bigger tires, nothing to stupid and huge though, thing is mint though and I loves diesels...loves, don't plan to hot rod the thing all up, it's nice and I want to keep it that way!!

so if you need some help moving something around and I am in town, if we can arrange it, I don't have a problem helping someone out, some pitch for fuel would be awesome though as diesel last week was $1.22/L...and that sucks!!

hope everyone is well, prob going back out to work again here soon, although I doubt I will ever do 44 days straight again, might pack 'er in around 30-35 this time

cheers!

Nice truck Vik. I just got my chip today. We shall have to meet sometime to see if that Duramax can match the totally awesome power of the chipped 6.5... :D

Sure...I might as well grab those. The front bumper on the 242 needs replacing anyways...

You've never raced a Duramax, have you? I know that answer to this one and no, my Suburban will not win. I just want to see how closely I can hang...

what i'll do is let ya'll know when i plan to bring it back to calgary (it's still in crossfield) then we can have a saturday type "meet" thing where if you want parts come get them, basically i just want to cover the cost of renting a trailer to bring it home, if i can't snag one from work...other than that donations would be nice for parts etc....

i'll keep you guys informed on this thread...

here's the bowtie, picking it up at the dealership...

and less than a week later with the lil lift and bigger tires...

i loves it...i mean, not nearly as fun as the volvo's, but for a work/daily vehicle, it's perfect

Very nice truck Vik. I'd own one in a second if I could afford. It would certainly pull my trailer with a little more gusto than the Suburban. Once I get the boost up to 15psi it'll be all right though. Even at 10 it goes mighty good for a 6500 lb monster...
