Winter is quickly approaching, anyone interested in a cruise before winter?
Thinking about something similar to our usual "Last Cruise" leave in the morning, stop somewhere for a picnic lunch and then return mid afternoon.

I would love to, but for the rest of the year, any weekend that Roberta is not working is a weekend that we're both busy with the house. If it falls on a day where my mother happens to be scheduled to watch Amber, I'd likely pull out the 780.

I might be able to make it. At some point, if we can ever get two or three days without rain, my deck needs to be stained. That and stripping the 122 are the only pressing things on my plate right now...

Buy your mom some flowers to bribe her
I am the same, I have a ton of work I HAVE to do outside (add to that some things I WANT to do) before winter comes but I would really like to make one last cruise.
Let us know what day works best for you.

Damn, I'd love to join in the fun...but I'm still waiting of a crank. Think mid October is too late?

mid-october might be -20 or +20. Either way, most of us will have put away our summer cars by then, though I suppose if a nice weekend is forecast they could be pulled out.

This weekend coming, and the last weekend that Paul has scheduled his parts swap are the two I'm around. Forecast is looking pretty good for this weekend...

Are Matt, Dale, Ian, Craig and I the only ones interested in this kind of thing anymore?

Although it appears I have a blown engine at present, so no driving in YROG right now.

Yeah, Paul... I think it's that time of the year when the deadlines suddenly appear and all the stuff that was supposed to happen during the summer really gets rolling. I know that's the way every September goes for me!

Ya know what? We really need to do this. I was on the phone with Brad tonight and he hasn't had the white car out in probably 2 years. I would love to do a cruise thing, and I'm sure Ian hasn't mortgaged the house for gas in a while.

Like, maybe we could even drive partway to Lethbridge & meet up with the crew down there?

I'm busy this weekend, next weekend, and the weekend after that, but the weekend of Oct. 11/12 is free so far, and should still be nice enough for our summer cars.

I am all in for a cruise, the only problem is that is the Thanksgiving weekend, I am not sure what plans are for family get togethers that weekend :?

Yeah, Roberta advised me of that fact as well. The weekend after that is free so far, and if it's still nice I say we try. If not, we've all got our winter cars ready, right?
