Alright. So those of you who skulk on Turbobricks know my issue. Apparantly, the hose from the charcoal canister to the canister shut off valve is cracking....

(Miss Viv is a 98 s70 t5, 323k km for anyone not familiar)

(lambda light has not yet gone off...but...I wanna know what I'm dealing with)

So..1) no idea where the heck this is. I've been flippin through my Chilton bible (which is pretty useless I've come to realize) and can find neither charcoal canister nor its shut off valve. dang.

2) Yes, I was thwarted by brakes. But, I'm gonna give this a shot when its time comes...since if I get it done at the dealership they claim it to only cost around 80 bucks...so I'm guessing its something a drunken monkey could do, ergo, I may be able to pull it off ;) So, if anyone knows a part number or something, so I can see how cheaply I can acquire it...(I'm gonna be doing a fcp run for the brake lines anyway....)

Oh yeah, any volunteers for helping replace front brake flex hoses? You will be repaid in beer/charred animal flesh or veggie flesh depending on your preference...and possibly some baked goods ;)

1) it is near the top of the fuel filler neck
2) we charge closer to 800 for brakes
3) flex lines are gravy, not too bad but heat up the lines and then try to get them off before rounding the fittings.

The eighty was for replacing the line from the charcoal canister - they quoted somewhere under five hundred for the flex lines. mia culpa I was not being very clear with that - forgot my attempts at brakes were better known in tb lol but thanks Andy now i know where to look ;-)
