Hey well i thought id get some more threads going on here, basically my passenger and driver seats are getting a little tired and painful at times to sit in. I was looking at maybe putting in aftermarket seats in the summer, i know vic and rick have them (APC and Tenzo Rs respectively i think), I have a few questions, First since my car is 2 door i'll be limited to what seats i get right? since i would still like to have relatively easy access for people to get in the back seat, I saw that Rick's seats can lean forward for access which i really like, but the $1500 per pair price tag i dont (lolz at me being poor). Anyways does anyone have suggestions on a relatively inexpensive pair of seats, (even used i dont care) that i should look into, i like the APCs but would they lean forward so i could get in the back vic?

Thanks

J-hop

The convo I had with Vik about this suggested they don't fold forward, but I might be mistaken on that since it was on MSN and I was at work and supposed to be working at the time.

I'm looking to grab a pair of *something* as well and though I've currently got a 4 door, everything might end up in a 2 door eventually so I'd like to keep the option open. Plus, my arse is wider than most of yours & Vik suggested that the APCs might not fit me that well. Gotta sit in 'em to be sure, I suppose.

I don' t know about your ass Matt, but mine is pretty ginormous and I fit not only poorly, but uncomfortably in Vik's and Rick's seats. In fact, I have yet to find a racing seat that I really like, I'm probably going to look into rally seats specifically - I know of a couple fat guys who rally :D

yea i think the APCs would fit me well since im a pretty small guy(no not what ur thinking  ) but it would be a bitch to have ppl squeezing in and out all the time, i think i might just have to wait around and see what pops up, or drop the money on the tenzos, maybe i could find some used ones out of a civic someone crashed while pulling 10sec 1/4 miles.

Some pop up every once in a while on the rally forums, I'll keep an eye open for you for some racing seats that recline forward.

my APC's do not fold forward....but i never intend on putting them in a two door so it's fine for me...

yes they are "skinny" but no overly, you would have to sit in them to get the fee...

look on beyond.ca, new stuff for sale liek that comes up every week or so...

as a side note i never thought i would be able to be driving my summer car on poor condition summer tires on December 23rd....wow!!!

ciao
