so I was leaving work today and i noticed, in the reflection of another car, that my brake lights wernt working. so i pulled back into the stall opened the trunk and checked the bulbs. both were fine. so i drove home with no brake lights and started to try and figure things out.

using my multimeter i figured a few things out,
1) power isn't getting back there.
2) the fuse is fine.
3) the brake light switch (attached to the brake pedal) works

any suggestions?

- Follow your logical diagnosis,
- Brake light getting power - good
- Check the light "burn-out relay" in the fuse box, is power going in and getting out?
- If relay working start tracing that wire back looking for a break or open, start in the trunk where the wiring is more exposed, then work forward, that harness runs down the left kick pannel.
