i had idling issues before with the k block , it would always idle on 3 cylinders, and when you let off the gas it would try to die. but if you tapped the gas it would hit 4 no problem, and would run happily at 10psi. this is likely a injector harness issue, im going to redo this harness soon and will report back, but any other things to check would be awesome.

i have a feeling this may have to do with the IAC I am using, but i cannot confirm as i dont have a spare on hand, it used to drop to 1krpm and slowly die, now there is almost no saving it under 1500rpm. i can keep it running with my foot on the gas.

and im not making boost. no boost leaks whatsoever. wastegate is closed (its a 15g) and its got a tight shaft. ideas?

im using all the lh2.2 electrics, with the exception on the lh 2.4 knock sensor (which looks identical)

ideas anybody?

You didn't by chance mix up the IAC and TPS wires (both 3-pin in similar areas)? The LH2.4 and 2.2 TPS have different numbers on them, as did the knock sensors when I last put a newer motor in an older car. I don't know if they are different in operation, but I just switched them to be safe. You did save the "thumbscrew" adjustable throttle body from the old motor and adjust the base idling accordingly?

IACs fail open more than shut usually.

Run on 3...like...might want to fix that and know what it is for sure before moving on...

yeah, wiring was the issue.

just soldered some connections back together and it runs like a champ. on all 4 no less. it misses sometimes at idle, ill just blame that on bad gas.

and i have the old thumbscrew intake on there already.
