I'll be waiting for a while with a disassembled head, and curiosity is strong: I've measured up a V15 Turbo and two of the RSI turbo grinds. I'll measure up an A and a T cam next, but I lack others like an M, B, K, or anything less common like a D, V, or VX.

It takes me about an hour per cam to gather the data I want, so I won't be keeping your stuff forever. I just want to get lobe shape, lift, duration, and LSA measurements so I can graph them out. I'd like to get this done this week, so any help anyone can be will be appreciated.

PM me if you can donate a cam to be used in non-destructive examination. Thanks.

Hmmm, how about an RSI NA cam and I've got an F cam for pushrod stuff if there is interest.

of course you can borrow my V buddy!

My CK1 is currently installed, and I'd rather not pull it, but if you REALLY wanted to, i'm sure I owe you a favor or two.

Wicked. The V would come in handy, Athal.

I'm not expecting great things from the M, but I'm measuring everything I can get my hands on so it's welcome too. Thanks for those three, Alex.

Craig, I don't have a pushrod rig to test your cam, but that might happen one day.

Expect this info to get shared. Discussion to follow.

Edit - the RSI NA cam would be nice too, but I'd like to get this head back together ASAP. I've got to get the valve stems cut down a little, and I don't know how long that'll take... Once that's done, camshaft measurement ceases.

I'd get everyone's cams back to them by the B&J meet on the 12th, provided I can get ahold of them soon.

You are aware this exists?

I have printed copies of all the cams they've had profiled...

So I still need to get ahold of a K cam, which would complete my "common" camshaft comparison. As of tonight I'll have the M, T, A, B, D, V, Enem V15T, RSI Stage 1 Turbo, and RSI Stage 2 Turbo mapped. I'd love to get ahold of a K cam in the next couple of days if I could...

Thanks,

That (and the RSI cam) would be welcome. We've got a football game Sunday afternoon, though. When are you planning on being in town? Drop them off early enough, I might have them ready for your return trip.

I have an H for sure, and an X I think. Everything else I have is a repeat of what is on that list. The V is a nice cam in a turbo (with appropriate head and flow work).

My friend Eric had an ITB cheater cam...B or D cam lift with tons more duration. No idea where that went though. It had a lovely lope.

Getting the stuff to you economically could be a bit of a challenge.

Ooh, those would be nice too. Alas.

Dale remembered that he had a K that hadn't been boxed up to ship, so now I've got one of those to measure.

Cool, good. I'm clean out of K's at this point, so I wouldn't have been much help.
