Just curious who works there?

A location change might be occuring for me in the next month

If it does happen, Anyone got a cheap room to rent to a clean helpful guy with no personal possessions who needs to save for a downpayment on a hooooouse?

my cousin is in property management up there. let me know what's going down and I can put you in touch with him if you're looking for a place.

nice! edmonton's pretty decent. It'd be nice to have a few more local guys :P

as far as rent goes, have a look at kijiji, there's some pretty decent deals to be had.

Your the Jordan that replied to my TurboBricks topic? :)

As far as I'm aware there aren't any local enthusists that work there. For what it's worth though, they seem like a friendly bunch.

Are you looking to have a job of somesort waiting prior to relocating? What line of work are you in?

I've got a job lined up with volvo edmonton already. When I fly out next week for the calgary dinner I'm going to head up there to meet the general manager and the service manager. I am a tech at volvo here. The tech who sorta lead me to this position is a nice guy, and the two guys I talked with today sounded really nice, hope that holds true!

Thanks athal, I want somewhere cheap but close to work so I can save up a nice down payment on a house in the leduc area, seems somewhat close to the dealership.

I hope it all works out for you - where are you currently located and are you originally from Canada? Why the move? Sorry, just being nosy.

I currently live in Leduc, it's a nice city, more 'town like'. It's very up and coming with a lot of new builds going up but it does have everything you need. Volvo of Edmonton is right on the edge of Edmonton, straight off the Highway. It's a 10 minute jaunt from Leduc in Summer, a little slower in Winter. You might also like Devon.

If your looking for somewhere temporary and close to the dealership search Kijiji for 'Ellerslie' and/or Southside. When I was thinking of moving to Ellerslie there was plenty of shared rent advertised for not much money.

I'm from bc originally. I'm in winnipeg now. Married a girl here, split up. Now I've got no reason to stay here. I'm dating a girl in red deer, it gets me a very short flight to vancouver or kamloops, and the money is way better pay than bc. And I know lots of people in alberta and even have some family in calgary. This job just sort of fell in my lap at training in vancouver last week. I've been to leduc, and I liked it, but that was 10 years ago
