I am in the process of pulling the sway bars off the 740ti before it goes over to Greg's and am having problems getting the rear shock bolts out. I managed to get the outside nuts off with lots of PB and my new impact wrench. :D I have tried to get the bolt rotating with the impact wrench as well as putting the nut back on part way to protect the stud and then hammering all without success. As this car is going to the crusher anyway can I use an angle grinder and just cut out the bottom of the shock mount to pull the shock out and then cut the bolt? As long as I don't hack up the sway bar I really don't care about the rest of the suspension as it's scrap metal now.

been there, done that! The lower bolt seizes in either the spacer, or the shock bushing.
if all you want is the sway bar, cut away! I think I still have my original 940T swaybars in my rafters if you don't have any luck.

Thanks for the confirmation of Plan "B" and offers of sway's. =D> :D

The car is over at Greg's now so will hack away on it over there, I'll keep the sway bar offers on file depending on what cars stay/go around here, thanks again.
