Hi Guys: a new member and and new to Volvo's
I purchased a much loved and repair documented 1988 740 GLE,215,000km and am looking for help in the search for lights. Where should I look for the best deal on both front corner lights? The back ones have cracks and in time would like to replce them.

Hi and welcome! Be patient and a decent set will turn up at the junk yard or try fcpgroton.com for new. I have a spare for a 940 but that probably wont fit your 88.

www.lampsandlenses.com is a good source too, compare to fcpgroton for price and availability (and shipping cost.)

Thanks for the leads on new lenses, what is your experience in ordering from the US,did the final price after duty etc. get pretty stupid considering the part initial cost.

Be sure the seller ships USPS and you'll only pay the GST plus a $5 brokerage fee, if you pay anything at all. It's been a while since I've had to pay anything on a package. UPS and FedEx will kill you on brokerage fees...
