Hi Bill,

I doubt it...anyone with a set has them on a car at the moment. There have been sets pop up from time to time on Kijiji. Keep looking.

Hi Bill

As 122_Canuck said Kijiji. That and a tire size calculator.

http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

I am fairly sure that your 17's are the up size optional tires so you should be able to go down to 16 inch tires. Easier to get and cheaper. Then get a set of winter steel rims from Volvo and you are set.
205/55R16 seems to be the closest size match. Lots of them on Kijiji.

This is what I did on both of our cars.

Seems like about what you need although it seems to me the S40 may have a different centerbore than the other cars. Bolt pattern will be correct though...

You should be able to swing a set for $100 each. There were several in the fall at around that price.

The 5x108 isn't the problem, Ford (fwd) and modern Jaguar and Volvo and Ferrari all use that bolt pattern. It's your 67.1mm center bore.

Any aftermarket wheel that fits the above cars should have a universal center bore that takes a spacer ring, though. Get the right ring for the wheel and your hub and you're set.

Wait a tick - I'm getting conflicting search results. It's a 4x108, one source says, and another says 5x108. I'm pretty sure they changed to 5 bolts at one point, didn't they?

Edit - kkk, disregard my earlier post. Swedespeed says that it's 63.9 center bore with a 5x108 bolt circle. Ford uses a 63.4 center bore, so the Ford factory wheels won't fit, but all other Volvo FWD wheels will, though they'll be located only by the studs (all other Volvos have 65.1 center bore.)

Edit too - and another post on Swedespeed says that they're 63.4, guaranteed. Damn, I hate the intarwebz.

My 06 S40 has a 5 bolt pattern I read somewhere its 5 X 108, I currently have summer tires 205-50 r17 with factory steel wheels.
I know nothig about te middle hole size on the wheels or insert, I plead stupid on that. haha

Bill
