I've always thought my right rear spring is soft, or at least not loaded as heavily as it should be, and I'm curious to know what my f/r and l/r balance is. The car doesn't have coilovers, but I think the upper rear spring perch can be spaced from the body enough to alter the load on that corner of the car, which will affect the diagonal load, which is a determining factor in left/rear handling balance.

Anyway, having said all that, is there somewhere or someone that has a set of four scales and a flat floor, and would let me play with my rear springs for half a day?

Actually, Ian gave me an "old racer's trick" that should work, it's just a bit complicated and intense for doing it the one time. We'll see if I give it a whirl, or if I find something else.

I bet Reigel Tuning has some, for setting up those torsion bars on a 911...
