I'm having trouble with my rear lights. The tail lights don't work worth a darn and either do the brake lights. Turn signals work but thats about it.
I know the back up lights are because of the backup switch in the tranny but I wont fix that until I drop the tranny next week. The wiring is really haggared on the units and I am wondering how easy it is to grab a harness from pyp or if anyone has them? Or should I bust out the souldering Iron and go with some old school re-wiring?
Let me know...this has me a little bummed out right now. I just replaced all the vacuum hoses with silicone hoses (red and coated) and re-gapped the plugs (i'm trying out a larger gap of .34), set the boost (12 psi) and timing (18deg adv with no vacuum advance). Its running absolutely amazing right now (aside from the clutch) and its bugging me because I have nothing to do and I want to drive my car really badly. I dunno, I guess its time to clear out the garage and grab the multimeter.
Call me if you can help
613-9096.
Thanks
Andy
