it turns out that I cracked my water pump I know that volvo replaced the water pump this year and that I hope its covered under warrenty? I'm going to put a block heater in sometime this weekend I think.

i love the generic frost plug style block heaters, they are a zilch to install and make you feel all warm and fuzzy when they bubble away at your coolant

Sorry to hear about your water pump, tell them its all their fault and to give you a million dollars and a dream vacation too ... that'd be nice
