So, got the silver 86 740T back on the road with the (third and counting) M46 which works great (thanks for your help Raz.) Centerforce clutch works perfectly. 3 inch exhaust is good too; had to adjust my overboost limiter because, suddenly, I kept hitting it. Has a glass-pack under the floor and a "Vortex" rectangular muffler (on sale at Can Tire) at the back. Anybody got a chunk of 3" tubing for a tailpipe? Curved or straight is ok.

Also wired the foglights to be independent of the headlights; power windows and cig lighter now work without the ignition on; got rid of interior rattles.

Car feels nice and quick. Poly bushings up front got rid of the braking shudder. A pleasure to drive after the 940 all winter (autotragic, everything stock.) Will have to enhance the 940 now...
