I have registered on other forums where you have to answer questions, or type out the scrabbled letter image to gain access to register. Is the current forum software capable of being upgraded to allow for this, or is new software available without breaking the bank? Maybe someone could track down Raz and see is he can give us a hand to get something in place that isn't so much work/hassle for the Mods?

At one point I set it up so each new member had to be approved but Raz, being an admin, kept getting approval notices and changed the setting.

We already have countermeasures in place, scrambled letters and such, but our board software is so old I think it's basically useless (as is trying to type a long post with my phone, or IE8)... I set up the current approval procedure not to make it difficult for people to register but to make it impossible to spam post. Frankly, I don't care if we have a billion spammers so long as they don't post - it doesn't slow anything down and doesn't affect me in any way.

I have been a short term lurker and have gotten serious with trying to keep my Grandmothers 92 240 on the road as long as possible. While also making it a bit more fun to drive!

I have just recently put in IPD anti sway bars and sport exhaust system. I also threw on those GT strut braces.

My next moves are going to be wheels ... on that note if anyone has an Virgo's they want to get rid of let me know ... and then the IPD VX camshaft kit with adjustable timing gear.

If anyone has installed or dealt with the IPD VX camshaft on a n/a 240 I would love to hear about it.

Agreed. It'll perform better than the VX and be cheaper. Honestly, I wouldn't even bother with the adjustable cam gear, unless you want to try and maintain a ton of low end torque at the expense of some higher rpm torque. Or, you could even get a T cam for near free from a local and have even more torque.

My car mainly is a road tripper and it would be great to be able to pass cars easier and have a bit more throttle sensitivity.

Hello new member here. My multigenerational Volvo stable (70 1800E, 98 S90, and 2006 V70R) has now shrunk to only the 1800E.

I am always on the look out for tips and parts so if you have them I am all ears.
