Small update...

Air tank came back from powder coating. Quite stoked. They did a great job. Cost as much as the tank did, but I have a feeling it'll be worth it in the end. Spray bomb never looks right.



Made some tabs to mount the lower profile power steering pump. Cleans things up a bit.

She's in. Yes I changed the bolts to grade 8, those were for mock up and didn't have any lol.



Water trap, I found an existing hole to use hidden behind the headlight.



Still needs some work on the line, I'll end up redoing it I think.

My bag plates should be here this week and I cut some 5" pipe so all I'll need to do is weld it up when the UPS guy shows up.

Like so...I'll trim where the red line is so I can fit a wrench in there. (Plate on the right will not be used, I stole this pic off google)



Then it will be bagged in the rear and half done.

haha, no that was a tag attached to it when I bought it. It was a freshly rebuilt rack and I assume it was there for identification purposes. It's not there anymore, I'm far more sneaky than that.

Small update (been busy working 2 jobs)

Built some bag cups, bags are supposed to be here very soon. I went with Slam Specialties SS 6" bags.









* Ready rod will be removed. It was only there to hold the straps close when mounting the tank. I still think I might try redo them

Thank goodness - I would imagine you'd like to be dragging the front crossmember, so you'd probably lose that key pretty quickly.

Speaking of which, what are you doing for front strut bags?

I'll be purchasing a universal build it yourself type kit. They're around $800 but totally worth it. I've never built a strut before, and a little nervous about screwing them up so I prefer to just concentrate on getting the rear done first and then attacking the front

More research is needed. It doesn't look hard to fabricate, I just need to wrap my head around how they work with a strut in the middle of the bag.

Bags installed...just need an air supply now so I can lift it off the jack I forgot was hibernating under the car :/ lol

Guess I'm due for a small update here...

Pic's of it dumped. I plan on cutting a few more things to make it lower. Need to tub for the diff and the torque arms.



Front end conversion, I have a thing for round headlights so it was a must have. I have a flat hood but it's black and has a small dent (still interested in purchasing one that isn't dented, although I think I'll just fix the one I have.





New shifter, just dropped it off at Alberta Plating to have it chrome plated.







New steering wheel as well, my momo hub adapter just arrived so I polished it up and threw that in as well.





Plumbed in the York, and ran all the lines for it. It fills an 8 gal. air tank from 0-200 psi in just 1 minute and 22 seconds. Can not believe it.

Spent some time with my tubing bender as well. Then hit them with some scotch brite then some never dull and then mothers polish.





Line will be tucked up all the way across the bottom of the floor behind the seats, nice and out of the way, out of sight.



Other side will have a stainless grommet going into the side panel (will also help support it because the stupid thing always fell down lol

Tank mounts aren't finished yet, that's why they look funny. I have a few ideas for them though.



Yup. Ordered the air strut kit today, if I had my shifter back I could drive it. In fact, I tried. *waves hand looking for shifter* ..."Oh yea...crap."

I also hope to meet up with you guys whenever you have a meet, I'm always the guy that waves at the other Volvo owners on the road.

Woke up at 10am - laying in bed I decide the wagon needs a better stereo that's ipod compatible. I also wanted the proper glove box back in my car to match.

Make purchase by noon and install by 4.















Sweet...but I need somewhere to store the 160gb ipod...











Bam done. No more complaints from my passengers that the glove box has to be down to listen to music.

The best part is...it still looks like I'm rocking the original radio. F-you thieves.
