Ok, so the long weekend was pretty productive. I spent Saturday putting the engine back together with the "new" crank and after cleaning it all for the second time, I swear that the machine shop added extra crud to the various parts of the crank.
Anyway - no photo's of the boring assembly, been there done that. It was the same. Well, except for my fancy new ring compressor from the Princess (on sale for $29 - works so much better than the crappy band clamps). Broke the first one on piston #1 - the Pricess came through with one that worked after that...hey, they aren't Snap-On tools, what do you expect

.
Today, Greg and Dale were over to help with the install (Dale was in town for Thanksgiving and got pressed into service - Beth is very tollerant). Sunday was spent fishing - priorities. Couldn't have done it without the excelent assistance.
Here's the overall shot of the tight working conditions. Made tighter by the installation of 2X4's to keep the roof from collapsing. The overhead crane I build worked perfectly, but I sure was happy to have 3 sets of hands to get this damn thing in. Painted stuff makes me nervous.
Here's a couple of shots of the engine in it's new home.
Now I've got to get the lines made and finish the electrical install and a few other things need to get reassembled. Should fire it for the first time next weekend.
Fingers crossed.
