Hey there CVC, first time poster here! I don't know that I have much to add to the group, but seeing as I lurk from time to time, this will make it easier to stalk the Lethbridge contingent when the urge arises!

Haha! Yeah, I suppose that moniker is warranted. For the record, we still have one Volvo (XC) in the stable.

Hello, everyone!

I'm Don from Calgary (duh), and recent owner of a 1991 940 Turbo wagon!

Restoring it to their former glory, which includes a thorough maintenance process. I've been active on Beyond.ca and Turbobricks.com so looking forward to meet fellow peeps here!

Are there meets or what not?

As for the fleet, my parents own a 2007 XC90 that they bought new and still going strong at 165k km+. Lots of road trips on that baby.

As for me, I also have:

- 1995 Mini Cooper
- 1989 Porsche 928S4

I'll post a build thread.

YAY!

Hello All,

Glad to join the Volvo club. I'm the proud owner of a 98 v70R AWD and a 94 850 Turbo. Volvo's have been in my family for my whole life and I have a dear passion for them. Will be uploading photos in the next few days. Thanks for having me!!!

JD.

Hi,
I'm a real person interested into Volvos. Currently I'm owning a Volvo XC90 from 2004 with the small 5-cylinder engine.

Hey all, Mike from Edmonton area.
Own a 65 volvo Amazon, currently restoring, got it running driving, and stopping lol after 30 years of sitting.
Will be driving it this spring and summer. Can't wait to meet a bunch of volvo enthusiasts along the way.
Cheers

Hello!

As i'm now responsible for three volvo's I thought i might be a good time to log in here - i only found out about this site this week while trying to find carburetor parts for the amazon...

i'll be interested in discussing whatever volvo we end up keeping but for now I was looking for advice/reality check on selling my in-laws 240dl (it's on kijiji now). I dont know 240's or even volvos that well (i've done more subaru folllowed by toyota) although i've had my own 122s for the last year and it's great. There's also an xc70 in the mix (my in-laws are volvo hoarders) but it's found a home in vancouver we think.

My actual volvo is the 122s - we bought it last year and it hadn't run in 7 years apparently..... swapped the oil and straightened the plugs and distributor and now it runs great!
As Seinfeld points out sitting in the the 122s is a really nice comfortable place to be.

Hi everyone, been into Volvos for awhile. My boss had a 1999 V70R in Saffron, man did I want that car. Now I am in search of a V70R or 850 AWD. Cheers and thanks for the add.
