Hello New User,

Please post a a "hello" note in this thread. Tell us a little about yourself, interests, cars you own. This will increase your post count from "0" and prevent your account from being deleted in one of our sweeps.

Oh, why, HI THERE! I haven't been in the area for a good while, but maybe someday... ;)

Just saying hello as a new user.
Excited to learn a little more about my vehicle and get some good advice from others on here.

Thanks to all.

I don't really have anything to say. I just don't want to be deleted. My 850 won't start, so I'm not really in much of a mood to talk Volvo at the moment.

I just pruned 5500 users - that's how many people we've gained in a month. I'm going to propose that we switch up the countermeasures to require admin approval to register. This spamming is getting old.

I have the same problem at Ovtuners.org... I was getting 10-20+ new registrations a day that I was supposed to read through and determine if real or not. 99% of them were spam. I now don't actually even have registration open at ALL, because it was too much for me to deal with. So, it's somewhat hard to register, now. You have to know someone, or accidentally register for our basically dead gallery for me to notice and get in touch to unlock registration for a bit. Pain in the BUTT!

Well talk about your problem and maybe we can help! The only thing I know about 850s that may cause your problem is cam position sensor and abs control unit.

Or dead battery, or a dead starter, or a car that thinks it's being broken into and the alarm is locking you out of starting it.

OK - so it sounds like continued pruning is the order of the day. But if I ever meet the spammers...
