"just flip 'em"

Ok, I did it, and I'm really glad, but it took awhile. The second side was a lot quicker than the first, but I finally had to give-up at 1am when after 20 minutes I still could not get the second bolt in the shock plate. Arrrrgh!

I also added a few washers and lockwashers where there weren't any, so all-in-all a good effort. Also, I smoked two cee-gars, which made it a perfect night. :-"

I notice I tend not to use air-tools except on really big stuff - is that just because I am old and stuck in my ways, or do others prefer the feel of a wrench?

I'm the opposite, I like using air tools on the big stuff and prefer hand tools on the small stuff (interior stuff). Glad to hear you're making progress
