I'm planning on doing a little head work on the B23 and need a 405 head to work on. Anyone got one sitting on a shelf collecting dust? We don't seem to have any at our PYP down here at the moment.

Not sure just yet on the dog front. I'll be there for sure, but my wife is away that weekend and we just got back from a break out east...so our dog people down here are in need of a rest. Something will get sorted out.

Nope. That's a 398. 405 came only in '81-'82 b23e 240 GLTs.

Nope, any '81-'82 B23e cars period. GL or GLT, doesn't matter.

There was one at PYP a week ago. Likely crushed by now. There will be another, no doubt. Matt has one but it's got some significant warp in it iirc. We were using it to hold cams we were measuring...

Right. Forgot the GL's. The car Craig was hoping to pull one out is an '83 GL w. b23e, but its got the wrong head of course.

I've also thrown out the bearing caps, so the head is now worthless for anything but study.

There will be another one some time, hopefully soon. I've got the larger valves on the way.

I have one or two for a very fair price... may have to move on short notice- the place I've been renting is in foreclosure... Trying to put in an offer, but not getting any response (literally- voicemail messages at the law office- Vickers in Calgary don't get any reply...)

No, no K-cams, sold last A-cam last night on Ebay, so it's less to move. Nineteen year's worth of uh, crap, to pack and move. Blech. Assuming at this point I have to, and the 22nd's the last day- 2 weeks from yesterday, Sunday. Renter has no rights under the circumstance.
Going to try them (Vickers) a couple more times, but times run out. I am very possessive about my stuff, and do not want to lose it by some sort of lockout at this place, even though I *did* pay the rent till August 09, it's no matter now... write it off as a retroactive $175/month rent increase for the 14 months or so, and move on.  Could be a lot worse, I know, I'm single and working, etc.
