I also have several gutter mount racks that I will give away, what are you looking for?

I'm looking for one that is front steer, 45.5" to the outside and 14.5" inside...not for a 240.

Sorry Jordan, I don't think anyone here has a spare 240 rack around. Off to the PYP.

Has anyone checked out the racks in the Nissan Z line (240/260/280)?
They switched between front steer & rear steer and I think all of their racks are very quick ratios.

Don't know how many of those are power racks. My 1980 280ZX had a manual rack...

Your right, 240Z & 260Z were manual racks (P/S was a recirc ball system) but Rack power steering was available as an option in 1981+ turbo models and standard on 1983 and 1984

You actually COULD get a rack & pinion steering in a ZX? I assumed they were all recirculating ball. I know all the Zs got the rack...

Technicalities....

I have no idea if my ZX had a rack or not. That was 30 years ago. I had no idea there was such a thing. All I know is it had armstrong steering and was a bear to parallel park so was a fairly quick ratio...
