The guy in Oregon I bought my 940 from had a white '83 242T sitting in his yard that he was working on to bring to market. Nice body, very little if any rust to speak of as I recall. Blue cloth interior. I highly recommend this guy I got my car from. See my this thread for contact info for the guy. http://www.calgaryvolvoclub.com/forum/v ... .php?t=894. You can be sure that any car you get from him will be solid and very, very sound mechanically. If something goes wrong with the car on your way home with it he will stand by you and see that you're looked after.

Roger

P.S. it didn't cost me that much to fly down to Portland and take a shuttle further south to where he could pick me up and take me to where the car was. I can give you the skinny on how to do it.

Hey Jordan. Are you watching eBay? There's an absolutely gorgeous 242GT in Bellingham going right now. It's got 73,000 original miles and looks brand new. Gonna have to lay out some cash to get it but it needs nothing...

Nice,

The problem is with the last fiasco I don't have much money left, gotta let it rebuild a bit. 1200 in flights the last round ;(

So I guess i'm looking for somthing I could just build up in my garage. So at this point, cheaper is better.

Athal,
Been in Contact with him... But I called 15 minutes too late, someone had just driven away with it. If there are any problems, he'll be calling me

There is a "pimp car that you were looking for" from our shipper reciever at a used car lot in St. Laurent. (45 minutes). I'm gonna go take a look on saturday. he said it looked mint from the road...

Roj, I might ask for that info
