mmm blue metallic. One of my favorite metallic 240 colors (there is no U in "color"), along with metallic mint green (called "cypress green metallic") on a GLT '81 wagon. You guys get rust, we get all the clearcoat burned off our southern oregon cars that live in the valley. Granted, all the cad plating and steel looks like brand new, but all the engine seals, dashboards, paint clearcoat and suspension bushings are usually completely effed.
242s are great cars, and a decently non-rusty 242T is a fun thing. You gotta be prepared to sort, but I can tell you, if you do the work right, a K-jet B21FT is a real fun engine. My 8.8:1 SCR k-jet B21FT takes abuse and runs on regular gas like no turbo motor from the 80s should, and I BEAT on it. Really, one you sort a k-jet car from the fuel tank forward, it will keep running mint better than an LH car IMO. Then again, I'm faster at figuring out turbo k-jet than LH.
Mine is rusting, being an 80- car. I found a couple bubbles on the rockers, and have a little surface scratch under the driver rear "sail" window. At least I have no undercoating or grease under mine, being an 80- car with an M45 and manual rack. A 240T should have the volvo "hot oil" undercoating system working nicely to save the floors, especially if it is an automagic
