Double the gap and put the coil under load,i don't believe it's the spark plugs.
Good point Raz,Carbon will definatley cause a problem.
Brad drove the car and he experienced it and thinks it could be a fuel delivery problem or coil can't handle the load.

have you guys had a fuel rail pressure gauge hooked up under load? made sure it goes 1:1 with the turbo?

could be something as stupid as a bad FPR, hell a bad ground to the fuel pump? who knows.

Someone should put the ever accursed miss viv on a dyno with a fuel pressure gauge, a stethoscope, an oscilloscope and a keen ear.

Raz mentioned it.
Has any body investigated carbon on the intake valves, this can be a real problem and be very hard to diagnose.

A nice water injection in the engine for an hour or so should clean the valves.
But she never wants a loaner and my crystal ball needs a new bulb as well.
Kat you need to leave the car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or live with her.

Matt and I did this spring.

and isn't the general italian tuneup drive her hard for a while? oh yeah, I've done that too lol

ps. in my defence, i didn't leave my car before cause I am too cheap! to rent a car while my car's hooped...and paul, your loaners have been going out to more lucritive causes lol

Although worse comes to worse, I'll be stayin in town first week of august...wait, no, I don't wanna wait that long lol.

And Raz - come on, those copper sparkies have seen their 30k of use already. More than possibly...I can't remember the exact mileage. But since that was december, it's now July...I do 50k a year....yeah.

Funny, of all the times y'all have tried to get Christine to misfire, it takes me in the car with Brad saying I betcha if you put your foot down she won't do it cause you're driving...but try!

(and she did! gasp!)

Absolutely no defence. Sorry. You've been griping for months about this and yet you're too cheap to rent a car? That comes close to one of the most ridiculous things I've heard. C'mon...if you seriously want help you really need to show a little more commitment to getting it fixed than that. I'm with Jim on this one. If I were Paul I'd tell you to take your car somewhere else...

Well she left the car finally and we replaced her platinums with NGK V-grove and
tossed in a test coil.
Her old coil under load did about 6 thousand volts less then the test one.(maybe)
