Fuel filler assembly? The neck right at the rear fender, or the sender/pump assembly?

The complete "neck"assembly, from the rubber that mounts in the fender behind the gas door right through to the hose that connects to the sender/pump assembly. Also needed is the rubber vent hose that connects to the sender/pump

Okay, well I'm going to need the sender/pickup myself, so if I'm out there anytime soon I'll pull both pieces when I find them.

I've got the one from the 140 if you need it...should have all the vents and stuff. Not sure how much help that is though.

Call me or pm me about it if you want.

Thanks Andy, but I am sure it will not fit the 700. It is an easy part for me to get and they are always on the cars at PNP, I just want to make sure there is a 700 at PNP before I drive across town.

...and besides, my buddy Matt needs the bits that this connects to and has to remove them to access the pick-up assembly

Just wondering if anybody's been to the J/Y recently. Trying to find out if there's any 740's with manual trannies before I drive across town. Just killed my tranny last weekend :(
Thanks all!

Just there today....only 1 740 there right now...a tan wagon. Don't remember if its a manual, or if the tranny is still there. Doubt it.

Lot's of other cars though: 3 '74 140's, an' 82 240, and a bunch of '84/'85 b23f 240's. One of the 245's has a complete set of skinnies. Missing some trim in the back, but the bumpers looked to be in good shape. The skin for the front one is in the back of the car. I was AWEFULLY TEMPTED to pull 'em today. Must be an American car. Someone get 'em!

I won't be able to make it out there this weekend, so could you grab my pickup/sender assembly, Ian? I'm still not sure if there's a difference year-to-year, but since you've just had yours out you'll know what mine looks like.

Not much in the way of Volvo's at all.
Matt I got the sending unit for you, it is the older style with the lever float rather than the version you probably have with the enclosed float.

The only 700 there is in rough shape and not much left, and it is an auto.

Can someone get me a small cap that goes on the bolt of the wiper? I have one missing.

I was just down at PnP yesterday. Not much for new Volvos exept for a fresh new '85 740 Turbo. Lotsa stuff still on it. I took the M46, the intercooler and AMM. Oh, and the OD relay too. The turbo is still there and seems pretty tight. Not sure what brand it is. 266,000 km on the car.

There's also at least one good tail light on it and a black grille. Front air dam is in real nice shape. Car is dark gray. Instrment cluster and gauges all there.

That's all I have to report.

Oh yeah, there's also a couple of BMWs with 3.3 or 3.5 litre engines in them that look pretty much complete. One of the cars is a fairly recent model. The other is from the 80s. Nice engines. Would like to see someone drop one of those puppies into a Volvo.
