I was out this morning. There's an '82 242 with 53,000km on it. It's got an M45 in it but it certainly won't be worn out...

The blue cloth seats looked very nice too. Must've had a perfect windshield as that's gone already...

There is an '88 740 turbo with Sirius wheels on it and an '88 760GLE with those 15" wheels that look like hub caps. There were two styles; one with straight spokes and one with curved spokes. I have the curved spokes on my 960. These are straight spokes. Very classy looking wheels. The 760 has a bunch of Vredestein winter tires on steel wheels in the trunk and back seat.

The 740 is relatively complete other than the intercooler is missing...

Somehow I think Matt might want to look at that 760GLE (I am ASSuming PRV+ IRS sedan here) hehe...

Short of the interior electrics and dashboard, it should be basically the same as his fancy B mechanically and electrically otherwise.

As of Sunday April 13. Same cars as above, but there is an 16 valve 740, with engine complete and intact, as well as an '83 U.S. 242 w. b230f. This car has a complete and from what I could see very nice set of skinnies on it. The regret of me not pulling them is overwhelming....

There is a late 70's 244GL out there right now with an uncracked black dash (early 240 series style)

Dunno if anyone in town can make use of it but it shouldn't go to the crusher...

There is also a burgundy 86+ 244 with a very nice set of grey cloth seats.

There is also a 264 with a hefty looking rear sway bar on it. Likely 22 or 23mm.

No 700 series cars today...

I would certainly love that dash. I had a mint one, but when we had our big tree in the backyard removed, a large stump landed on the concrete, and made enough of a rumble that it knocked the dash off the shelf. It now has a crack.

If anyone feels like pulling a dash for me, I'll certainly make it worth their while.

Absolutely nothing for Volvos down at PnP now. Save yourself a trip and don't go. All that was there today were 2 picked over 740s with automatics and an '85 or '86 240, also picked over. None of them turbos.

One of the 740s did have a nice undamaged set of tail lights though...

One of the 740s is a turbo. Matt and I were there yesterday and everything was there except the intercooler...

Oh yeah, that's right. The silver '87 right ? I didn't really look under the hood once I looked inside the passenger compartment and saw it was a friggin' automatic. I was after a hydraulic clutch hose.

BTW, you know what Volvo wants for one of those ? $126 !! Just for a 2 foot long piece of what looks to be 3/8" hydraulic hose with fittings on either end. Talk about bending you over a stump and puttin' the blocks to ya ! :ANAL:
