Hi everyone, I may be looking for a b23 (would consider a b21 i guess) engine this spring that I could throw in the 242 to get her drivable again. I am going to have to pull the b21ft in there as I had a lot of trouble with it. Preferably in decent shape and a decent price would be appreciated as well.

Thanks!

Jon

I've got the B21FT from my silver wagon sitting on the floor of the garage. Nothing wrong with it if you want to run n/a as it's 9.3:1 c/r. You can run it turbo'd as well but unless you're running 94 octane you're limited to about 5psi before it starts pinging. I'm about to tear it apart to use the block as a mock-up block for the 122. It's complete minus a starter, I believe...

Lemme know...

I've got some 2nd oversize b21A pistons that would be SWEET in a b21ft block. It would give 2.2 liters and about 8.5:1 compression if you wanted to do a quick rebuild...

If your B21FT is complete, I have a B23FT that may drop in it's place. See my post here:
