Remembered your were looking for a C70, not to sure how far you were willing to go to look for one, found this on the VCBC website. Indicates low km's (miles actually, US car?) for a 99 vert. The comment about needs minor work or parted out sounds weird, might be worth checking out.

1999 volvo c70 convertable 58,000 orignal miles just air cared needs minor work or will parted out $6900 firm 604 767 0374 [2009-05-30]

ya the comment "needs minor work or parted out" does sound a little shifty! and at 58,000 miles on a '99 C70 convertible for only $6900 makes me think that it needs a little more than "minor work". But Thanks i'm gonna try and get in touch with the guy, I will be in the Vancouver area in a few weeks.

If you're headed out to the wet coast here's another one to check out, a few issues to be resolved but a pretty low price for the year and mileage.

2) The driver-side door sensor which detects that the door has been shut, sometimes does not detect that. You get an annoying beeping sound, and the inner cabin lights does not
turn off. You have to open and shut the door multiple times for it to work. I inquired with Volvo about this a year ago and they told me it would cost about $200 to replace. I did not
bother because I can always manage to make it turn off, again you just have to try

mine does that. specially in the winter. just slam the door ;)
