Hey guys, I'm looking for the bracket for the wastgate (the one with the 3 allan bolts and a metal hose flange). I think I tossed mine in the swap.

I think thats about everything, this should be on the road this coming weekend!

I have vauge images of what you're talking about... but that's about it. Three allan bolts and a metal hose flange? Wastegate bracket with a hose flange? What's a hose flange anyway?

The bracket that holds the wastegate on a Garrett uses two bolts on the compressor housing, but it's got nothing that resembles a hose flange, whatever that is.

The bracket that holds the compressor bypass valve uses three bolts and mounts to the head, and it has a hose nipple on the bottom... but you wouldn't have had that piece in your old car 'cause it was a Mitsu and it had an internal CBV.

Am I even warm?

Only one I've got is on my car ATM. I could probably swap it for my Bosch one if you're desperate...

Actually, yeah. Let's do that. When do you work 'till tomorrow?

So you're missing the bracket, and that's all? You've got the CBV to go with the bracket, but no bracket? You ARE talking about that piece that you couldn't loosen from the head & broke your allen wrench in, right? The piece I threw in the back of your wagon?

Bosch doesn't make a bracket, but in order for me to let you have the bracket, I've got to install another CBV. Bosch makes one of those.

5:30, huh? Ugh, I hate that neighborhood at that time of night. Any chance you're planning on coming to the BP's thing this Thursday? Maybe I'll swing by at lunch tomorrow if not.

Did you find it, or are we still trying to hook up? I forgot that lunch today (and tomorrow) are booked.

Well I didn't throw it out, so unless someone else did it's gotta be back there.

Look tonight if you remember and let me know. If it's not there I've got mine in the back of my car.
