The current owner bought the car 10 years ago. Now lives in Inuvik and used the Volvo for 3 weeks a year when returning to Edmonton - mostly used it for communiting to and from Manitoba during that time. It's currently parked in his brothers yard in Edmonton.

The car is black with full black leather. It's very clean (little rust) and very presentable. Mileage is 240k-ish (owner considers this 'high' for the condition of the car, strangely). All the electrics work, all the mechanics seem fine. Drives fine but it's not insured so I couldn't get it on main roads for a proper blast.

Only problem is it'll need an OOPI (registered in NWT), a new back box (muffler?) and a new handbrake cable.

They both want rid of it and are clueless about a price - a bargain perhaps? Both seem very nice to deal with.

OPI's are 120-160 plus the paper from the registry which is another 10 bucks or so, the OPI is a very thorough inspection though, I would fix the things that need to be fixed before you get it inspected because you only have 10 days to have it repaired after the inspection.

I'm not buying it after finding out it's registered OOP; just thought someone else might be interested as it's a real nice example for probably not-much-money.
