Hi guys,

I'm selling my 1967 122S. It's in really good shape. The kijiji ad is here:

http://calgary.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicle ... Volvo-122S -beautiful-shape-reliable-and-fun-car-W0QQAdIdZ222296807

I'm asking $5600. Some of you might remember this car from the previous owner who was on the forum a little bit. He put a ton of money into it and I have all his receipts. It's quite a stack of them and shows that he went out of his way to clean the car up. There are a lot of IPD parts on it.

I'm selling it because I have a beat up '66 122 with rusty floors on my driveway that I'm working on and I'm out of storage. I need to clean up what my dad calls my "redneck compound".

Hi - howz the sale going; any tire-kickers, at least? I hope-so, but I don't ever plan on selling mine.

(I won't ask for those chrome trim-rings. Honest, I don't need 'em, but every 122 I look-at now looks like a parts-car to me....!)

I sold a mint '68 122 for $8,000 to a guy in Fort Mac awhile-ago, so I think your price is probably Ok. Actually, your car is probably better than mine was, I just found someone who really wanted one (for his wife). I can't see the photo now, but is that paint looking a little flat/oxidized? A good cut and polish might help sell her if it is.

Do you have a sign on it? Whenever I used to drive my '68 around, people would be asking me all the time if I wanted to sell it.

Gooood Luck!

J

I need to turn on notifications or something. I didn't notice this until now.

I've had some interest. I lowered the price a bit, to $5600. I don't really need to sell it, and I really like it, but I need to space to work on my crummy 2 door 122.

I think I've found good storage for this nice one for the winter, but for some reason I've been getting a lot of action on the car in the last couple of weeks so maybe it will sell. A guy my age (mid-thirty-ish) came last night and LOVED it. I wouldn't be surprised if he jumped on it. I hope he does. He'd make a great owner for that car.

The price is really reasonable, in my opinion.
